Gingerbread Bunny House

Hey all! One more day until the weekend! Wahoo!! It’s currently sunny and 62 outside, which means we are going outside this afternoon!

Before I continue, I saw yesterday that Google Reader will be gone as of July, so if you haven’t, please switch over to Blog Lovin’. I have no idea how to link to that as of now (and haven’t had time to search for it!), though! I know a lot of you have made the switch yesterday and today, so keep it up, please!

Alrighty! My day started out getting Charlotte getting ready for school, while the other two hung out. Peter actually chose to stay in his jammies until after we dropped her off Smile I actually thought they would all be sleeping still when I woke up because none went to sleep easily last night! I blame it on the fact that we were outside playing so much that they were overtired, or their bodies were overstimulated. Regardless, I came downstairs and then heard Charlotte and Peter running around. Once I got them back in bed, I came downstairs. Shortly after, Peter came down again, and then Emma, both telling me they couldn’t sleep. I went up a few minutes later, though, and everyone was zonked out!

Shortly after we came home from taking Charlotte, Peter and Emma played their separate ways (books, piano, basketball) while I finished a workout on the treadmill. It was a Tone It Up workout from their #TIUBride series!

By the end, I was a sweaty disaster, but it felt great!

Emma, Peter, and I also tackled a Gingerbread Bunny House this morning! I thought it would be better doing it this morning without Charlotte because it was a little more work, which was a great idea! The pieces had actually cracked in the box, so we first had to perform some surgery on those and get them back together Smile

Emma and Peter took over once I got the broken pieces fixed, and they did a marvelous job!

Ta da!

One epic fail happened during the process. Of course it was to me, too. Emma and Peter were so neat and hardly made a mess. I happened to squeeze the icing the wrong way, and got it all over my hands!

We got quite a chuckle out of it, though, so it was all worth it Smile Many laughs were had, also, when our house started crumbling to the ground when we were building it!

Our fun continued to Target for some hot dogs and slurpees! Each of them managed to come out with red and blue tongues, which means it was quite a success!

Hot dogs, slurpees, few fries, and apples with caramel sauce. Does it get any better??

Alrighty, the kids are finishing up Face Timing with their parents, and I am off to get Charlotte to sleep! Have a fantastic day, everyone!

P.S. I got a call today telling me MY WEDDING DRESS IS IN!! I cannot wait to get home and go see it sometime next week!
    Questions:
    • Cherry or blueberry slurpee?
    • Apples with or without caramel sauce?

    Comments

    1. Ohhh! That is exciting about the wedding dress. I’m sure it’s going to be perfect.

Apples WITHOUT carmel sauce, apples WITH peanut butter.
