I guess cookies are off limits too

Good morning!

I ended up with a busier day than I thought yesterday! It was another gloomy day, which meant it took me a little longer to get rolling. And when I got rolling and wanted to workout, my stomach was rumbling. My mom happened to bring home ripe bananas from meals on wheels, so I made banana bread pancakes. So good! I copied the recipe from someone’s blog, and forgot to write who it was from 🙁 if it was you, leave me a comment so I can link it!

After breakfast, I got a call from our mortgage place saying they needed Aaron’s college diploma to approve the loan. Say what? Repeat of Wednesday? Luckily Aaron could meet me at lunch to sign some papers and I sent it all over, and we were finally approved last night! Woo! We knew we would be, but it was just the waiting game and little things that kept annoying us.

Thankfully, I got in a workout which kept my stress levels down! I continued my workout with a hike with niko and my mom! Niko showed me all over and loved the water. He’s a cutie pie, alright!

The rest of my afternoon was filled with making sugar cookies for Bridget’s grad party, baking banana bread, taking a nap! Sounded perfect to me and it actually flew by!

Side note, whenever we bring the mixer out, Niko comes running. He wouldn’t move the entire afternoon we were baking!

The penguins played, and lost, last night, so I headed to my friends house to order some pizza and watch the game. The pizza was heaven in my mouth! I haven’t talked about it on the blog recently, but I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my stomach recently. It’s all due to Colitis, but for the past few weeks, food hasn’t been sitting well. Within the past week, every food I eat makes me sick. I actually began to hate eating because I just knew I’d get sick. This is the healthiest my diet has been in a long time, so I really don’t know what is going on. Typically, my colitis acts up with I don’t eat healthy so I just don’t get it. The pizza I ate last night was the only thing in a week that didn’t make me sick. Remember the fro yo the other night? Yep, made me sick within 5 minutes. I guess I should take up stock in Dominos! My stomach would be happy, probably for a day and then it’d get sick over the greasy food. I have had tests done for allergies, and they all come back negative, but it’s still really frustrating that I can’t pinpoint something. I’m really hoping to figure it out without having to go to the Dr. and get more tests done. After my pizza, I ate Oreos, of which made me sick. Great, cookies are off limits, I guess.

Anyway, time for me to go shower and get ready for my day! I have no idea what my plans are for the day!

What are you doing today?

What is your favorite place to get pizza at?

I’m hoping it was the oreos on top of the pizza that was the problem 🙂 Oreos are too good haha

  2. I’m going through something similar (with milder reactions though) and am trying to get it figured out. It can be so frustrating! I hope you figure out SOON what’s bothering your stomach!!

aw, I know how you feel! It really sucks. Once I think i narrow it down, though, something changes. It usually passes, so I hope yours passes or you get to the bottom of it really soon!

  3. Banana bread pancakes sound really good! I love mellow mushroom pizza 🙂
