Cardio and Core Circuit

Good morning! I’m off to hopefully complete a run, but the weather outside is looking like rain! Can’t forget though that it is

My mom really loved my workout last week. Actually, she asked who created it. Thanks mom. I have to agree with her about loving it, though. I really liked the idea of mixing cardio and strength up. This week, I made one in a similar way, but focusing on cardio and core. Mostly because I am still trying to work on adding core into my workouts. If it is built in during the workout, I am much more likely to do it!

Hope you enjoy! Basically, complete the white portion once (it will be 10 minutes). I choose to do it running, but anything works. Then, complete the yellow part (core) 3 times through, 20 reps each!

Here are some links to some of the core:

Russian Twists

Hip Sway (11:07 into the video)

Standing Oblique Crunches

Hip Bridges (9:08 into the video)

As always, feel free to ask any questions about it! Let me know if you do it. Also, don’t forget you can Pin it at the bottom of the page so you can do it later! Winking smile

Have a fantastic day everyone!

How often do you strengthen your core?

  1. I can’t run outside today either! As soon as I woke up to hearing the rain still pouring, my first thought was “what am I going to do for a workout?!” This looks amazing, but the thought of using a treadmill right now makes me want to die. I am so spoiled… lol

  4. I don’t mind a light misting of rain, BUT hate hate getting caught in a downpour

  5. I love getting core work in like that, especially standing twists. so effective without the basic crunch
