The Honeymoon- Ship Activities

This is the last recap I have of our honeymoon! I am sorry they have been dragged out, but it’s been fun to relive them as I write about them! This post might be a bit longer than usual, but it has a lot of pictures going on!  In case you missed it:

The Honeymoon: Allure of the Seas Day 1

The Honeymoon: Cozumel, Mexico

The Honeymoon: Falmouth, Jamaica

The Honeymoon: Labadee, Haiti

The Honeymoon: What Fitness looked like

The Honeymoon: Food on the ship

Today’s post is basically just more on the ship. Besides the three days of excursions, we had a blast on the actual cruise. The amenities on the ship were amazing, and we were lucky to take part in most of them! Our days looked pretty similar; we’d wake up and eat, head out to the pools until lunch, go back to the pool after lunch, and then walk around and go back to our room to get ready for dinner around 6:00. We ate dinner at 8:30, and then usually had some show to attend in the evenings. Regardless of what we did, it was always a great day! We never had rain.. can you believe it? Our temperatures were around 90 everyday, and besides the first day, the wind wasn’t bad at all. Some days we really wished the wind would pick up!

So, in no particular order, here are some of the fun things that took place on the ship (beware, lots of pictures ahead!):

Lots of pool time

Enjoying a strawberry daquiri (me) and pina colada (him)

This was called OceanAria (but was basically Cirque du Soleil . I couldn’t speak more highly of this show. There was so much to it, but these men just stole the show. In the last picture, realize they aren’t holding on to each other; only their necks are holding them together. Amazing, right? It was just incredible. Lots of diving, jumping, swimming, etc.

We tried our hand at Surfing.. and failed.

Being goofy one night. Ha just kidding. This one man offered to take a picture of us, which he did. Then he told us to show our muscles and act goofy. I loved it! One of the worst things on the cruise was us being alone and constantly asking others to take our pictures!

Enjoying sunsets and night walks

Huge sports deck.. full of this court with basketball, soccer, and volleyball. There was also ping pong in another area. Aaron surprised me with a rose one night. Told me the only card they had was Congratulations.. perfect for me!

Spending out last nights on the ship, and one of the awesome animals our room housekeeper made!IMG_3549

Celebrated coming home and opening gifts with this bottle of wine. I received a wine basket for one of my showers, full of different wine for different occasions, and this was one of them!

What do you think you would enjoy most from our ship?

Have you ever seen a musical? Which one?

  1. Ah! I loved the photo dump. I had to laugh at Aarons card “…Congratulations for marrying me”. Too cute =) I think the biggest thing I’d enjoy besides all the shows would honestly just be the overall experience. I’m not the best with big ships, but you really have me thinking again about breaking that fear & doing one at least once in my life.

btw; you looked stunning in all your photos. love the dresses.

I would highly suggest doing at least one :) they just have so my h stuff for everyone! I wish I could even give a glimpse of everything. There were things happening inside all day long so you didn’t have to be at the pool if you didn’t want to!

  2. i love the wine basket gifts – i think those are the cutest! the ship activities look like so much fun. i’ve always wanted to see the “newleywed” style games they play because those crack me up always.

I was so excited to get a basket like that! Haha I saw them floating around the Internet but never mentioned I wanted one lol the newlywed show was hysterical. Definitely helped that the cruise director was so funny with every activity!

  3. Wow…I can’t believe all the different activities they have on the ship! Zip lining and the show sound awesome! I’ve actually never been on a cruise. My husband gets sea sickness pretty easily, so we’ve always been hesitant to go. Do you feel the boat rocking much when you’re on it?

I never felt the rocking or anything. Maybe on smaller ships but definitely not ours. I could see my towels moving a bit in the bathroom but that was it! There are a lot of things to help with seasickness too; one of them being ear an apple every morning! Something in them helps with seasickness!

  4. LOVE seeing these pictures! I think I might have the white and sequin dress (is it one shoulder?) that I wore to gala at my school two years ago. I’ve never been on a cruise but after reading your posts on your experience, I’d love to go on one.

Haha you do have the same dress! One of your posts recently had a picture! I actually don’t own it; it would be another one of Bridget’s lol. If you ever have be chance, definitely take a cruise!

  5. I love this!! Looks like so much fun. And actually makes me want to go on a cruise hahaha even though I’m scared to death of being on one. I think I would enjoy all the activities they have. I was kind of shocked at seeing how much they offer! I nominated you for the Liebster Award :)
