Before I begin writing these posts, I have noticed that I have new readers! Thank you for stopping by, and I do hope you stick around! Brief background.. Aaron and I started dating when I was a freshman in college, and we were married July 27. Our pictures have finally arrived, and I couldn’t be more excited to share. For more about us and everything leading up to the wedding, and the honeymoon, visit here!
I have a lot of pictures from my weddingg; so many that the photographer said the only wedding that has more is her daughters. Obviously, I am in love with this, and I hope you enjoy them too. I have been dreaming of these posts for a while now, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! If there is anything in particular you want to know about, leave me a comment and I’ll be sure to include it!
The day of our rehearsal was surreal. I never felt as if tomorrow was the day I would be marrying my best friend, but it was. The morning started by getting manicures with my maid of honor, Emily, and my mom. I felt so relaxed, and knew everything would be fine. The afternoon was spent catching up with Emily, making sure our reception had all of our things (there were a lot!), and checking things off my to-do list.
Btw, these nails were the ones I struggled getting off just this past weekend. They looked just as great when I took them off as in this picture, though filed down as they grew out. Can you believe it?! A month later!
Before I knew it, it was time to get ready to head to the church! I couldn’t wait to get the show on the road!
Our rehearsal started at 6:30, and everyone was on time. After a brief overview from the priest (who I absolutely loved and am soo happy he married us!), we started our practice. Naturally, I teared up throughout the entire process.
Within a half hour, we were done, and everyone felt like they knew what was asked of them. I felt confident for the next day, and was ready to go relax with my favorite people and enjoy plenty of delicious food!
Before the rehearsal. P.S. It’s pictures like these that make me very happy I cut my hair!
All my dad wanted for our wedding was shrimp cocktail; unfortunately it ended up being ridiculously overpriced, so he was ecstatic when he had it at the Rehearsal Dinner! We also had Chicken bites, which were phenomenal, along with Glazed Ham, Red Roasted Potatoes, Chicken Parm, cheese and crackers, veggies, and beef!
Aaron and I welcoming and thanking everyone.
I had so much fun with my girls’ gifts. They each received monogrammed large make up, and small make up bag, their earrings and necklace for the wedding, manicure set, flip flops for the reception, and I made each of them a set of plates and glasses. I really love monogramming, so I gave them 2 plates, and 2 wine glasses with their initial!
Aaron gave his men pocket watches. They are from years and years ago, and everyone loved them! It shocked me but I was thrilled they were so into them.
Aaron and I gave both of our mom’s a make up organizer with their names monogrammed on. I also gave my mom a pearl bracelet with the infinity sign on it.
I gave my dad a frame that said Dad & me to be filled with a picture from the wedding, and cufflinks. One said “Father of the Bride” and the other said “I loved her first.” I loved them!
I made Aaron’s parents this sign as a gift from me. Aaron gave my parent’s mugs that he drew and wrote on, and put in the oven to set. They turned out really cool, but I forgot a picture. Aaron gave his mom a hankercheif that had a saying on it (note: she is always crying! She cries for happy, and sad, so this was perfect for the wedding day!) Aaron’s dad’s gift didn’t show up in time, but it was personalized guitar picks!
