Happy Monday. I won’t lie. I’m a little bitter about it already being Monday! Doesn’t the week know that we really just like the weekend? Maybe next week Monday will get the hint
Anywayyy, remember how I told you I had nothing on the agenda for this weekend? Turned out to be a busier weekend, but the plans were all last minute, and fun, so it was ok! Time for some more marvelous about my weekend.
I worked at a school right near my parents, so I went over after school and hung out with my mom until Aaron came over, and the boys went to get the boat. While they were gone, my mom and I washed our cars. You guys, I am embarrassed at how disgusting my car was! Now, though, it’s beautiful! I cleaned the inside and the outside, and then did Aaron’s to be a nice wife Really, though, my parent’s have a nice vacuum for the car, and all the car washing things, so it is easier over there.
My mom and I really lucked out this year with the boat. The owner of our dock had to use our boat trailer to buy a boat for his son throughout the summer, and repaid us by completely washing it for free! Woo!!
My mom made Chili, which was amazing. Chili is perfect on those cool days.
I headed out to The Clubhouse with some friends later that night, where I enjoyed a delicious Mudslide. Mmm
After a rude wake-up from Benson at 7:15, I couldn’t fall back asleep. What’s a girl to do? Go running of course! It ended up raining throughout the rest of the day, so we headed to his parent’s to see Roman, our nephew.
He was adorable, but I didn’t stay too long as grocery shopping needed to happen! Check out what happened as soon as I reached my door.. Epic fail.
Saturday night I headed to the Scentsy party! It was really fun, and lots of food! I didn’t even think to grab my phone to snap some pictures, but I will tell you there was more than enough! The boys were all supposed to go out shooting but the rain killed that idea, and hung out downstairs at my cousins. We all enjoyed ourselves!
Aaron and I tried a new church, and I really liked it! It was a contemporary service, so next week we might try the other style they have.
Of course after Church I had to get my bake on! I haven’t baked for Aaron’s family in a while, so I tried some new creation in my head, and made Cake Batter Rice Krispy Treats (recipe coming soon!).
My dad came over to put up some shelves! I was maxing out all cabinets, but now I have plenty of room! He put up shelves at the top of our basement steps going into our kitchen, and above our shower. That meant I got to organize! I love to organize, ha. Oh, and he took me to Olive Garden for lunch. Best dad ever! Soup Salad, and Breadsticks for me
The rest of the day was spent making a bookshelf for our new desk, and hanging out on the couch. Aaron and I are going to start watching Breaking Bad, so Netflix on the couch was the way to go!
And just because he’s adorable… this is his newest trick. He learned to jump on the sink, and I guess it tired him out and he needed to relax! ha
