No Equipment Vacation Workout + Core on the Go workout!

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a fantastic week! Just because I am on vacation doesn’t mean I’m not working out. Between running in a new area, and having the boat to do water sports, I’m getting my fair share of exercise. However, on rainy days, or some that are chillier, I need something else to do. I came up with a No equipment needed vacation workout to get me through those times! Hope you enjoy!

The first one is a strength and cardio, with no equipment, workout.  You can choose to do this once or twice. You will perform each move for 50 seconds, and rest 10 seconds before moving on.

After you finish that, you can move on to your core! I have done this workout a few times in my group fitness classes and it’s always a burner!

Few moves you may not know:

Power Squats

Skater Lunges (closest I could find. Basically do a curtsey lunge fast with a hop in between.)

Knee Twist

Tick Tock Crunches- hold your legs at a 45 degree angle to the left and perform a crunch. Raise your legs straight in front of you and perform a crunch, lower to 45 degrees on the right and perform a crunch. Repeat.

Power Knees

Inch Worms

Weighted Crunches

Bent Leg Twist

  3. Good for you on getting your exercise in over vacation. I always love getting a good run, no equipment, weight workout in first thing in the morning when everyone is still sleeping. It’s always fun to see new areas. Continue having fun, Heather.

  4. Keep enjoying yourself lovely lady! As I run, I am fortunate that I can go out the door from pretty much anywhere to do that, but I do try to keep in core (including some of your exercises), and my lower body exercises….the videos on my blog.   6. My normal go-to workout on a vacation is to run. You can do that anywhere with no equipment need either.

  8. Oh awesome! Love stuff like this since I don’t have gym access right now. My favorite way to workout on vacation is to go for a run and then walk everywhere. Swimming is fun, too, if the water is warm! Hope you’re having a great time, hun 🙂

      Totally agree! I have a pass for the gym, but I don’t go since it’s where I work and 15 minutes away. I just don’t need that motivation to get a workout in.

  9. Honestly I don’t have a go to workout, I haven’t been on vacation since I started really working out. Before when I just ran, it was simple, I would just run wherever I was at. But now, well I’m excited for whenever that vacation comes 🙂
