Target It All Workout

Thank you all for your kind words yesterday! I was really excited to show everyone what I have been working on. I know I will just keep adding on as I am always finding new exercises to use in my classes!

Last night, I sat down to watch one of my newest favorite shows. I’m sure you have all heard of it: American Ninja Warrior. If you haven’t heard of it, it has nothing to do with ninjas! ha This show takes the fittest people in the world and has them compete for a spot to make it in the finals, to win the title “American Ninja Warrior.” They compete for a time, (if they make it through all the obstacles) and if their time is fast enough, they move on.

This show is the epitome of motivation. In Dallas, Texas, Kacy Catanzaro stunned the crowd as she competed and was the first woman to make it through the obstacle and move on! Oh, and she’s only 5 feet tall and weighs 100 lbs. Some of the obstacles that she had to face were further apart than she is tall!

This show shows what you can do when you put your mind to something and train for it. It’s amazes me all they can do and just makes me want to push myself even harder in my workouts!

I thought I would share a workout with all of you that causes you to push yourself too! You will work your upper body, lower body, and core, all while adding in some cardio in between. I promise you will work hard and feel it when you are done!

Target It All Workout

My favorite workouts are ones that include both strength and cardio. Sometimes I get tired of repeating the cardio over and over, so with this workout, you only have to do the cardio burst three times! You will perform each circuit 3 times, and in between you will perform the cardio burst once! You can do the circuits in any order, depending on what you want to start with. Remember to warm up, and finish with some stretching! This workout will be sure to work all of you, and leave you with a nice sweat! Always remember to take breaks if you need it, and drink water.

For video demonstrations:

I hope you enjoy! As always, let me know if you do it and what you think!

Have you watched American Ninja Warrior?

Have you ever participated in an obstacle course or have a desire to? Which one?
