One Year Ago Today

…My life changed for in ways I can’t even explain. I’ll never forget that day. Not only was Aaron coming back from a 2 week trip to Japan for work, but I had a sneaky suspicion that I might be pregnant. I woke up early in the morning, unable to go back to sleep, so I took a test. I remember the faint line, and throwing clothes on to rush to Walgreens and buy more tests. One year ago, I {Read More}

On Gaining Weight While Being Pregnant

I’ve written and re-written this post so many times. I’m not sure if it will be conveyed the way I hope, but please keep in mind I am eternally grateful I was able to get pregnant, have a great pregnancy, and deliver a healthy baby girl. I will never take that for granted. These are just my thoughts I’ve had about gaining weight while being pregnant that I do think others have had them as well. ********************* The truth is, {Read More}

Tummy Toning after Baby {Guest Post}

I’m thrilled to have Stephanie guest post today. She is the owner of Purple Laurel, which is all about helping your belly get back after having a baby. Today she’s talking about Tummy Toning after Baby. ***** Tummy Toning after Baby Life changes forever after a baby is born, and many of the physical changes that happen during pregnancy—like rounder tummies and wider hips—don’t always go away on their own after you’ve given birth. Baby Brown 39 Weeks: The Delivery Room

Thank you all for the prayers and support on my dad’s surgery! The surgery went well and he is recovering in the hospital until tomorrow, hopefully. He was up walking yesterday, but due to the nerves being traumatized, he was in quite a bit of pain, though it got better as the day went on! He knows things will get better, and he’s in great spirits and talkative, so that’s all we can hope for! Of course.. he wants his {Read More}

Hospital Nurse’s Baskets

When you talk to anyone who has had a baby, I’m sure you have heard how amazing the nurse’s were. You could even ask how the doctor was during delivery, and I’m sure you’d hear that they only came in when it was time to push. This isn’t to speak badly of the doctors- they are doing their job and have for the 9 months they’ve been monitoring you! However, this is to say that the nurse’s are incredible in {Read More}

HERE’S WHAT ELSE BABY BROWN HAS BEEN UP TO THIS WEEK: She weighs almost 6  lbs and is about 18 1/2 inches long She’s about the size of a head of romaine lettuce She’s head down {Read More}
